Tutoring Services — Maths, English & Study Support

Looking for a maths tutor, English tutor, or someone to help your child build better study habits? We offer one-on-one tutoring in Werribee and online, for students from Prep to Year 12. It’s a private tutoring service, run separately from our NDIS supports.
Why parents choose a private tutor
Every student learns differently, and every family’s week looks different too. Whether your child needs help catching up, wants to get ahead, or just needs steady one-on-one support outside the classroom, we tailor each session to them — not a generic worksheet.
Sessions are relaxed but structured. We track progress properly, set clear small goals, and keep parents in the loop on how their child is going.
Year levels and tutoring subjects we cover
Year levels We tutor students across every stage of school:
- Prep and early primary (Prep–Year 2) — building confidence with reading, writing and early number skills
- Primary school (Years 3–6) — strengthening maths and English fundamentals ahead of high school
- Junior secondary (Years 7–9) — keeping students on track as schoolwork gets more demanding
- Senior secondary (Years 10–12) — exam preparation, assignment support and building the study habits VCE requires
Whatever stage your child is at, sessions are tailored to their year level and where they need the most support.
Maths tutoring From core number skills through to more advanced problem-solving, for primary and high school students.
English tutoring Reading comprehension, writing, grammar and cohesion — the skills that make every other subject easier.
Homework and study support Helping students stay on top of schoolwork and build independent study habits that last beyond our sessions.
How our tutoring sessions work
- One-on-one, tailored to the student
- In person in Werribee, or online — whichever suits your family
- Regular, consistent scheduling so progress is easy to track
- Clear feedback after each session, not just a report card at the end of term

Your child’s safety comes first. Every tutor holds a valid Working with Children Check and a National Police Check, and is screened before working with any student. As part of a registered NDIS provider, SSS Support already operates under strict safety and conduct standards — we hold our tutoring team to that same level of accountability.

Why families choose us
- Personalised attention — no lesson plan is copy-pasted between students
- A consistent, familiar tutor each week
- Progress that’s tracked and visible, not vague
- Flexible delivery to fit around school, sport and family life

We are hiring tutors
Looking for tutoring work? We’re always interested in hearing from patient, reliable tutors who enjoy helping students build confidence in maths, English or general study skills. Sessions are flexible and can suit university students or experienced educators alike.
If that’s you, get in touch and tell us your subject strengths, availability, and any tutoring or teaching experience you have. Tutors need a current Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or be willing to obtain both) before starting.
