Our Disability & Private Services
SSS Support is a registered NDIS provider based in Werribee, delivering personalised disability support across western Melbourne. We offer a wide range of supports, from daily personal care and independent living to community participation, life skills and more, all built around your NDIS plan, your goals and the kind of life you want to live. These services are available through NDIS funding and, in many cases, on a private basis for individuals and families who prefer to self-fund.
Every service below is delivered by trained, screened and genuinely caring support workers. Click through to any service to learn more about what’s included, how it’s funded and how to get started with SSS Support.
All our Disability & Private Services — What We Offer

Assistance with Personal Activities
Personal care is one of the most important supports a disability provider delivers, and one of the most personal. SSS Support helps with daily hygiene, grooming, dressing, eating and mobility, matching every participant with a support worker who suits their routine and personality. We keep staffing as consistent as possible, so you’re not explaining your needs to a new face every visit. This support is funded under Core Supports in your NDIS plan and can be scheduled around mornings, evenings or overnight care.
Supported Independent Living (SIL)
Supported Independent Living gives participants the funded support to live in their own home or shared accommodation as independently as possible. Funded under Registration Group 0138, SIL covers the support workers and care provided, not the housing itself. Whether that means a few hours of help a week or around-the-clock support, our team manages the needs assessment and Roster of Care process with you from the very first conversation. SIL is one of the most significant support types in the NDIS, and getting the setup right matters.

Household Assistance
A safe, well-organised home is the foundation of good health and independence, but disability can make everyday household tasks genuinely difficult. SSS Support provides assistance with cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, groceries and light home maintenance, built around what you actually need rather than a fixed checklist. This support is funded under Core Supports and also available privately for individuals not yet on the NDIS or who prefer to self-fund. Both one-off and ongoing arrangements are welcome.
Community Participation
Feeling part of your community shouldn’t depend on how much support you need to get there. SSS Support helps participants join clubs, attend events, visit the gym or simply enjoy a café outing, with a support worker who participates alongside you rather than just supervising from a distance. This support is funded under Core Supports or Capacity Building depending on your plan goals, and the aim is always growing confidence and independence over time. Community connection is one of the most requested supports we deliver.

Innovative Community Participation
Not every participant thrives in a conventional group setting, and that’s exactly what this service is designed around. SSS Support offers a creative, tailored approach to community engagement for people who face sensory, social or communication barriers in standard environments. This might look like interest-specific groups, peer mentoring or technology-enabled participation, built around your strengths rather than what’s easiest to arrange. Registered under Group 0116, this is Capacity Building funding aimed at genuine, sustainable connection.
Group & Centre Activities
Group and centre activities bring participants together in a structured, shared setting, offering social connection that one-on-one support can’t fully replicate. SSS Support runs small group programs covering arts, fitness, cooking, music and social outings across western Melbourne, kept deliberately small so every participant gets real attention. Group support under Registration Group 0136 is often more cost-effective per hour than individual support, meaning your Core Supports budget can stretch further. It’s also a valued source of weekly routine for many families.

Travel & Transport Assistance
Getting from A to B shouldn’t be the barrier standing between a participant and their goals. SSS Support provides door-to-door transport, travel companionship for appointments, and hands-on public transport training for those working toward independent travel. Transport funding works differently to other NDIS supports, sometimes appearing as a standalone budget and sometimes claimed within another category, and our team can help you find exactly what’s in your plan. Building genuine travel confidence, at your own pace, is always the goal.
Life Skills Development
Life skills development isn’t about doing things for a participant; it’s about coaching them to do things for themselves. SSS Support delivers structured coaching in cooking, budgeting, communication and using public transport, practised in real-life settings like your home and community rather than a classroom. Funded under Capacity Building in your NDIS plan, this is one of the most valuable long-term investments a participant can make, since the less support you need over time, the further your plan budget goes. Progress is tracked and milestones are genuinely celebrated.

Life Stage Transitions
Major life transitions are challenging for anyone, and for people with disability they can be especially complex without the right support in place. SSS Support helps participants navigate leaving school, moving into independent living, or entering adult services for the first time. Funded under Capacity Building, Registration Group 0106, this support is distinct from general life skills coaching, focusing specifically on the transition itself. Planning early makes a genuine difference to how prepared and confident a participant feels when the moment arrives.
Daily Tasks & Shared Living
Support with everyday living tasks during short-term accommodation, medium-term transitions, or individualised living arrangements. Covers help with meals, personal routines, household tasks and settling into a new environment. Funded under NDIS Registration Group 0115, and also available to privately funded clients.

Tutoring Services
A private tutoring service for students Prep to Year 12, covering maths, English and general homework and study support. Sessions run one-on-one, in person in Werribee or online, with regular scheduling and clear feedback after each session. It’s run separately from our NDIS supports and isn’t NDIS-funded. Tutors are screened with a Working with Children Check and National Police Check before working with any student.
Behaviour Support Implementation
Behaviour Support Implementation means putting an existing Positive Behaviour Support Plan into consistent, skilled daily practice. SSS Support’s trained workers carry out the strategies developed by a registered Behaviour Support Practitioner, with fidelity, patience and genuine compassion. It’s an important distinction: we implement behaviour support plans, we don’t write them, and every session is properly recorded and communicated back to the practitioner. Consistency is what makes behaviour support actually work in daily life, not just on paper.

Medication & Clinical Waste Management
Safe medication support is a critical part of daily care for many participants, and it requires proper training and clear boundaries around what a support worker can and cannot do. SSS Support provides medication prompting, pre-packaged dose assistance and non-invasive administration support such as creams or eye drops, all within the correct scope of practice. Complex clinical tasks like injections or wound care fall outside our scope and require a registered nurse, and we’re upfront about that boundary because it protects participants. We also handle clinical waste disposal safely, using approved containers and procedures.
