Depending on the participant’s plan and needs, supports may include help with:

  • Personal hygiene—showering, bathing, oral care, dressing
  • Toileting and continence needs
  • Eating and drinking assistance
  • Mobility and transfers – such as getting in/out of bed or a wheelchair
  • Medication prompting or administration
  • Getting ready for the day—morning and evening routines
  • Support with using aids or appliances
  • Assistance with grooming and appearance
  • Help with daily routines at home or in the community

  • At home (own home, family home, supported accommodation)
  • In shared living environments (such as group homes)
